On Tuesday at 1316 hours the Hose Company was alerted for Mini-Pumper 5 to respond and assist on the working house fire at 2819 Churchville Road in the 120 box area. Mini-Pumper 5 w4 marked up at 1317 hours. Deputy Chief 3 and Engine 315 were first to arrive at 1313 hours with smoke showing from a one and a half story single family dwelling. While marking up on the box Mini-Pumper 5 advised command that they would be setting up draft operations at the Churchville Pond. Command then advised the Mini-Pumper that there was a plug located infront of the dwelling and to make their response to the scene. Mini-Pumper 5 arrived the scene at 1327 hours and was instructed by command to have the crew of four report to side alpha of the dwelling. As Mini-Pumper 5s crew made their way to the dwelling command then advised that units from Company 1 Company 3 and Company 9 would handle placing all other units ready for service. Mini-Pumper 5 remained on scene until 1342 hours and then cleared. Deputy Chief 3 Snyder had the Churchville Road command.Also during this time Engine 515 relocated to Company 1 with a crew of five to cover Company 1s first due area.
