On Monday at 1404 hours, the Hose Company was alerted for Mini-Pumper 5 to respond to fill out the 416 Fire Box for the reported house trailer fire at 2120 Forestside Drive. Engine 411 from the Abingdon Fire Company was first on scene with a house trailer fully involved & advised this would be a defensive operation. While enroute, command advised the Mini-Pumper that they would be unable to access any drafting sources in the area & to report to the scene. Once on scene, the crew assisted with extinguishing the fire & overhaul. The crew also extinguished a a small woods fire in the area, which was a result of the house trailer fire.
