The Susquehanna Hose Company recently took delivery of 67 new 3M Scott Fire & Safety Air-Pack X3 Pro SCBA complete with voice amplifiers, luminescent apparatus identifiers, personal AV3000 masks, Pak Tracker system, and Scott Site Thermal mask imagers for each apparatus. These also include two new RIT Pak III setups and a Fit Test Quantifit station.
Over the next several months, all SHCo interior firefighters will complete a fit test, a classroom session overview of the SCBA and add-ons, including the RIT Pak III setups, and a Hose Company created practical test, which will include many tasks that are typically carried out on the fireground.
We’d like to send a HUGE thank you to the City of Havre de Grace & Harford County Government for their financial assistance in purchasing these SCBA and also to the SHCo SCBA committee for specing out a great product.
This is a tremendous upgrade from our current SCBA & will go towards serving the community & surrounding area for the years to come.
