Saturday night around 2130 the men were alerted for an engine assist to Cecil County Perryville for a working house fire. Engine 512 and Deputy Chief 5 hit the street shortly after dispatch. Cecil Chief 7 arrived with a well off single story single family dwelling with Engine 613 right behind him. Engine 512 arrived about 1 minute later the crew of six 6 and the deputy went to the front lawn with hand tools and mask. Command wrote the dwelling off almost immediately due to heavy fire throughout the structure from the basement up to the division 1 and from side Alpha to Charlie the dwelling was also believed to have been vacant for a while. Deputy 5 went to side Charlie to supervise operations there where Cecil Engine 714s crew was operating a 2 line. Captain Goll Jr. Engine OIC was assigned the duty of water supply a tanker task force was alerted due to the non-hydranted area. Engine 512s crew pulled a second 1 line to the delta side and assisted 613s crew getting the blitz fire in service. The men operated this line and pulled walls from outside as well as many other various task on the fire ground. The Engine and Deputy were on scene for approximately 4 hours. Engine 513 relocated to Cecil County Station 6 Perryville for the duration of this incident and the Company ran a gas leak inside while both engines were out of town.
