On Wednesday at 1911 hours the Rescue box was struck for Route 155 and Interstate 95. Chief 5 Deputy Chief 5 Chief 5-1 Chief 5-2 Engine 515 w5 and Rescue 5 w7 marked up shortly after alert. Dispatch advised all units of a single vehicle off the roadway with one trapped on Route 155 in the area of the Interstate. Chief 5 Chief 5-9 were first to arrive confirmed the same advised they had one not breathing and advised the incident would be located closer to Route 155 Earlton Road 154 box area. At that time Company 1 was alerted for their Rescue assignment. Engine 515 along with Paramedic 592 were next to arrive. Command instructed Engine 515s crew to stabilize the vehicle and begin removing the drivers side doors. As Engine 515s crew was doing this Rescue 5 arrived and was instructed by command to take the passenger side. Crews were prepping for a roof removal however instead took the B post on the drivers side and extricated the patient. Extrication took approximately 5 minutes and the patient was then loaded in to Paramedic 592. While the crews were performing the extrication aviation was requested to the scene. Crews remained on scene until the arrival of Trooper 1 and then cleared. Chief 5 Hurst held the Level Road command.
