On Thursday morning the Hose Company was alerted for the 10-50 PI in the area of MM 89.5 northbound on Interstate 95. Engine 512 Engine 515 and Utility 571 marked up shortly after alert. Engine 515 was first to arrive with one vehicle over the guardrail with subject injured. Due to Medic 591 already being on the scene Engine 515s crew checked for hazards and assisted the Medic crew. It was then found that the best way to remove the patient from the vehicle was to remove the drivers side door. Engine 515s crew then stabilized the vehicle and began removing the door. Extrication only took a few minutes and after clean up Engine 515 was marked available by command. Lt 5-3 Allers had the JFK command.
