On Friday at 2343 hours the 595 North Rescue Box was struck for the reported crash with people trapped on Northbound I-95 at milemarker 90.2. nbspChief 5 Chief 5-1 Engine 512 Engine 515 Quint 5 amp Rescue 5 were on the street shortly after and were advised by dispatch that they were receiving reports of an overturned tractor trailer with entrapment. nbspChief 5 was first on scene with a car vs. tractor trailer with one trapped in the tractor however advised all vehicles were upright. nbspQuint 5 amp Engine 512 were next on scene at which time the Quints crew stabilized the vehicle amp began extrication while the Engines crew stretched 8 200 for cover. nbspWhile crews were working on extricating the patient command requested the Harford County Hazmat Team amp a Maryland SHA Sand Trucknbspdue to the saddle tanks of the tractor leaking. nbspRescue 5 was next on scene and assisted with additional stabilization and controlling the spill. nbspExtrication was completed in approximately 15 minutes and command then scaled back to units on the scene Engine 515 staged at the Rt 155 Park and Ride. nbspHose Company crews remained on scene until the patients were transported amp the Harford County Hazmat Team assessed the spill. nbspChief 5 Hurst held the command.
