On Saturday at 2223 hours the Hose Company and Company 5-9 were alerted for the 10-50 PI at the intersection of MD Route 155 Level Road and Lapidum Road. Chief 5-1 Chief 5-2 Engine 512 Engine 515 Rescue 5 Tower 5 marked up shortly after alert. Chief 5-2 was first to arrive at 2227 hours and advised of one vehicle off the roadway that had struck a pole. Shortly after his arrival command requested aviation for two patients and BGE for a pole and wires in the roadway. Engine 515 was next to arrive at 2228 hours and were instructed by command to assist with patient care and begin checking for hazards. As remaining units were arriving the patients were loaded in to Paramedic 591 and Paramedic 592 while crews waited for Trooper 1s arrival. Trooper 1 arrived the scene at 2253 and began transport at 2315 hours at which time Hose Company units began to clear. Chief 5-1 Carroll had the Level Road command.
