On Saturday 55 minutes after the midnight hour the Hose Company and Company 5-9 were alerted for the 10-50 PI on Revolution Street in the area of Lewis Lane. Chief 5-1 Engine 512 w5 and Rescue 5 w7 marked up shortly after alert. Dispatch advised all units that they received a report of a vehicle vs. train on Revolution Street. Chief 5-1 was first to arrive and confirm the intial reports. Rescue 5 Engine 512 arrived shortly after established patient care and began checking for hazards. Luckily the tanker car that the vehicle struck was empty and no hazards were found. Crews remained on scene until the arrival of EMS and then cleared. Chief 5-1 Carroll held the Revolution Street command.
