ONE’S ARM TRAPPED IN SILO FEEDER

 April 27, 2006

On Thursday afternoon the Hose Company was alerted for a subject with his arm stuck in a feeder to a silo.nbsp Chief 5-1 Chief 5-2 Engine 512 Engine 515 Tower 531 and Rescue 551 marked up shortly after alert.nbsp Chief 5-1 was first to arrive and confirmed the initial report and immediately requested aviation and the Go-Team.nbsp Remaining units arrived and began extricating the patient from the feeder.nbsp Hose Company crews extricated the subject from the feeder and command then cancelled the request for the Go-Team.nbsp The patient was then transported to a local trauma center by Trooper 6.
