The Hose Company was alerted for a MVC with rescue on Interstate 95 along with Cecil County Perryville for the rescue and ambulance assist. Chief 5 Deputy 5 Engines 511 512 515 and Rescue 5 called enroute shortly after the alert. Perryville responded Rescue 6 Engine 614 and Ambo 691. Addition information given to Chief 5 was multiple patients 5 cars and at least 1 trapped possible partial ejection. Chief 5 advised dispatch to start aviation to the scene. Chief 5 arrived Close to the Perryville side of the Interstate Bridge confirming multiple cars and patients and established the Hose Company Command. As apparatus began to arrive on scene Chief 5 had crews begin work on two separate vehicles with occupants trapped. As crews began extrication of the occupants Perryville experienced a power problem with their Rescue and the tools were out of service. Engine Company 515 and Rescue 5 was positioned between the two vehicles and tools were pulled and put to work. A second helicopter was requested to the scene. All crews worked well together to quickly and effectively remove all occupants from separate vehicles.
