At quarter-after 3 this morning, Engine 512 was dispatched as part of the Cecil County Fire Box 700, for the reported working house fire in the 200 block of North Main Street (Port Deposit). Crews from Water Witch Volunteer Fire Company were first on scene with fire showing from the two story dwelling. Engine 512 (w/5 volunteers) was on scene shortly after & laid a 5″ supply line from a nearby hydrant to supply Ladder 72’s aerial stream. Crews maintained a defensive posture throughout the incident and worked until approximately 0430 before clearing the scene.
During the incident, Engine 513 (w/4 volunteers) transferred & covered Perry Point Fire Department Station 11, as their Engine was committed to the scene. The remaining Hose Company Divisions remained attended while both Engines were out of the first due area.
