On Monday at 0315 hours the Hose Company amp Company 5-9 were alerted for the 10-50 PI in the 1600 block of Pulaski Highway US 40. nbspChief 5-1 was first on scene at 0320 hours with a single vehicle crash on the westbound side requested the rescue assignment for one heavily entrapped and aviation for a priority one patient. nbspTwo additional patients were also located at the scene both also needing medevac transport at which point another helicopter was requested. nbspCrews from Rescue 5 Quint 5 Engine 511 amp Engine 513 worked for approximately 45 minutes to free the heavily entrapped occupant which included partial roof removal amp a dash roll. nbspCommand reported the patient extricated at 0404 hours. nbspThe three patients were transported by Medics 592 291 amp 292 to a local landing zone amp then transported to Baltimore area trauma centers. nbspRescue 5 remained on scene until 0626 providing lighting for the accident investigation team. nbsp
