pOn Thursday the Harford County and Havre de Grace area received a heavy amount of rain from the remnants of Tropical Storm Nicole.nbsp The Hose Company handled a total of 21 storm related calls ranging from swift water rescues to pumping out basements.nbsp A total of three swift water rescues involving vehicles were made within the town of Havre de Grace.nbsp The Hose Company swift water team also provided aide to Harford and Cecil Counties on 9 incidents.nbspppDuring the early morning hours Friday the Hose Company swift water team and Company 9s swift water team evacuated the entire neighborhood of Baybrook.nbsp Approximately 30 residents and their pets were evacuated via zodiac boats and were either transported to Company 5-9 for shelter or to their vehicles.ppDuring the 24 hour period the Hose Company had two swift water teams on standby one to remain in town and one to provide mutual aide which were made up of approximately 10-12 swift water technicians.ppThe Hose Company would like to thank the Harford County TRT Team Company 9 Chester County Swift Water Team Company 5-9 Community Services and Disaster Assistance for their assistance.p
