On Wednesday morning the Hose Company was alerted for the auto fire at Pulaski Highway and Post Road. Engine 513 Engine 514 and Engine 515 marked up shortly after alert. Dispatch advised units they received a report of an auto fire at the intersection. Engine 514 was first to arrive and advised there was a vehicle smoking however it was due to the vehicle being involved in a 10-50 PI and requested the assignment to be re-alerted. Engine 513 and Engine 515 arrived shortly after established patient care and removed all hazards. As crews were establishing patient care command requested aviation for one patient and advised Engine 515 was available. Hose Company crews remained on the scene until Trooper 1 arrived and then cleared. Lieutenant 5-3 Allers had the Pulaski Highway command.
