The Officers & Members of the Susquehanna Hose Company are proud to announce that Rescue Engine 5 is now ready for service. Rescue Engine 5 is a 2021 E-One Typhoon eMAX Rescue Pumper, featuring a 1500GPM pump, 750 gallon water tank, 25 gallon Class-A Foam Tank, 25 gallon Class-B Foam Tank, a 16,500lb bumper mounted winch, a 6kW hydraulic generator, and also carries a full compliment of battery operated HURST Jaws of Life Rescue Tools. Rescue Engine 5 is housed at Susquehanna Hose Company – Division 4 and will be first due on all Rescue Assignments, while also having the capability to operate as the Hose Company’s 6th Engine.
