Immediately after clearing the Market Street fire on Monday, Rescue Engine 5 and its crew headed straight to the Havre de Grace Parks & Recreation Summer Camp for a scheduled fire prevention event.
Despite a busy morning on emergency calls, our members were proud to spend time with the campers teaching important fire safety lessons, answering questions, and giving them a closer look at the fire engine and equipment.
Protecting our community goes beyond responding to emergencies—it’s also about educating the next generation and helping prevent them. Thank you to Havre de Grace Parks & Recreation for inviting us to be part of a great day with the campers!
