On Wednesday at 0704 hours the Hose Company was alerted for the 10-50 PI at the intersection of Pulaski Highway and Blenheim Lane in the 542 box area. Deputy Chief 5 Chief 5-2 Engine 515 Rescue 5 and Tower 5 marked up shortly after alert. Dispatch advised all units that they received multiple reports advising of approximately five to ten vehicles involved. Rescue 5 was first to arrive at 0710 and advised of multiple vehicles involved with one vehicle on its side on eastbound Pulaski Highway. Remaining units arrived shortly after established patient care and began checking for hazards where a few minor fuel spills were put in check. After all was said and done a total of seven vehicles were involved which resulted in three transports by Company 5-9. Hose Company crews remained on scene until 0810 hours and then cleared. Deputy Chief 5 Packard had the Pulaski Highway command.
