This past Wednesday evening, members of Susquehanna Hose Company were honored to join The Luckiest Light for a meaningful evening focused on building stronger connections with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Firefighters and artists painted side by side while discussing ways first responders can better support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities during emergencies. It was a great opportunity to learn from one another, strengthen relationships, and promote understanding in a welcoming environment.
