This past Tuesday evening, members from Susquehanna Hose Company – Division 2 and Susquehanna Hose Company – Division 5 joined The Luckiest Light to bring individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities together with our SHCo members, to discuss the best ways firefighters can support these individuals during an emergency. Firefighters and artists painted side by side to create special works of art.
The Ethan Saylor Alliance was also on hand to help support the event and raise awareness on how first responders can better support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our communities, specifically during emergencies.
