On Sunday November 12th the members from Station 52 along with a few of our brothers from Perryville Joppa-Magnolia and Smith Island trained with one of FDNYs finest Lieutenant Mike Ciampo from Ladder Co. 45 located in Upper Manhattan. The training was held at the old military housing in Edgewood. The day began with ladders and forcible entry and in the afternoon we learned ventilation and overhaul techniques along with a few other Street Smart Truck Company Tricks of the Trade Despite all the wind and rain nothing held back this great opportunity. As they say Train Like You Fight and Fight Like You Train. A good time was had by all and most importantly everyone went home learning something new.
