On Thursday at 1614 hours the box was struck for 659 Commerce Street in the 503 box.nbsp Chief 5-2 Engine 511 w5 Engine 512 w4 Engine 514 w8 Engine 515 w5 Rescue 5 w5 Tower 5 w6 and Mini-Pumper 5 w2 marked up shortly after alert.nbsp Dispatch advised all units that they were receiving reports of a lawn mower on fire inside of a detached garage.nbsp Engine 512 was first to arrive at 1617 hours with smoke showing from the alpha side.nbsp Engine 512s crew placed their 150 preconnected hand line in service where they found a lawn mower on fire inside with minor extension and began to knock it.nbsp Chief 5-2 amp Engine 514 were next to arrive at which time command scaled back to Engine 512 Engine 514 amp Rescue 5.nbsp Crews conducted some minor overhaul and cleared approximately 15 minutes after arrival.nbsp Chief 5-2 Allers held the quotCommerce Streetquot commandbr .br Also during this time the Hose Company handled an automatic fire alarm in the 542 box area.nbsp Engine 511 Engine 515 amp Tower 5 were diverted from the 503 box to handle this incident where they found a malfunctioning smoke detector.nbsp Crews cleared shortly after their arrival and command was held by Captain 5-5 Hurst.br br As another side note the Hose Company had 30 standby personnel which is a total of strong66strong members for these two incidents.
