On Thursday evening at 1620 hours the Fastest Volunteers were alerted for the Technical Rescue in the area of Brian Garth and Heather Way in the 560 box area. Chief 5 Deputy Chief 5 Chief 5-2 Engine 515 Rescue 5 marked up shortly after alert. Dispatch advised all units that they received a report of a male subject that had fallen down a twenty foot embankment and was now complaining of a leg injury. Chief 5 was first to arrive at 1622 hours and confirmed the initial reports. Upon Engine 515s and Rescue 5s arrival crews assembled a roping system with a stokes basket to extricate the patient. Command advised extrication was complete at 1645 hours at which time the patient was transported to a Baltimore Trauma Center by Paramedic 292. Hose Company crews remained on scene until 1655 hours and then cleared. Chief 5 Hurst had the Brian Garth command.
