pSusquehanna Hose Company would like to thank Bill Batemans for a fantastic fundraiser held on July 26 2008.nbsp Special thanks to owner Christian.nbsp In all over 6000.00 was raised from ticket sales decoy raffles and live auctions.nbsp Susquehanna Hose Company had a total of 44 firefighters on hand to help raise money and tend bar.nbsp Each Division had a half hour to tend bar and the total sales during that half hour plus ticket sales from each division were all added up.nbsp At the end on the night Division 4 edged out Division 3 by 90.00.nbsp Of course that was in part to Assistant Chief Wayne Carrolls 500.00 bar tab he opened up when Division 4 took the stage.nbsp Division 4 won 10 tickets to the Dover Nascar Race in the fall and Division 3 won 5 for second place.nbsp Numerous items were also auctioned off throughout the night and the highlight came at the end of the night on the last auction item.nbsp The item included a twosome to Bulle Rock Golf Course a twosome to Furnace Bay Golf Course two golf bags tees and golf balls.nbsp We also had a very generous anonymous donation of a 2007 Cal Ripken Hall of Fame autographed baseball to throw into the package.nbsp By the time it was all said and done in a very fierce bidding war the auction netted 760.00.nbsp Bill Batemans and SHCO would like to thank the following businesses for their supportnbsp Bulle Rock Golf Course Furnace Bay Golf Course Chesapeake Rent-All Aberdeen Ironbirds Cal Ripken Jr Baltimore Orioles Batemans Beer distributors for 17 Dover Downs Ticketsnbsp Montville Taxi Singer Associates Captain Harry Jobes Decoys Captain Bob Jobes Decoys Vincenti Decoys and the anonymous donor of the Cal Ripken Hall of Fame ball.nbsp Susquehanna Hose Company would like to thank Bill Batemans for their support and look forward to future fundraisers and long relationship with them.p
