On Friday evening the Hose Company was alerted for an engine to respond on a reported apartment fire 109 Hamilton Place in the 211 box. Engine 514 marked up shortly after alert. Dispatch advised all units enroute that they were receiving multiple calls of heavy smoke from the apartment building. Engine 215 was first to arrive with heavy smoke from the roof of 109 Hamilton Place. Dispatch then hit the Hose Company for an additional engine to the scene. Engine 512 marked up shortly after alert. Shortly after Engine 512 marked up dispatch hit the Hose Company for a third engine to the scene. This brought Engine 515 Chief 5 Deputy Chief 5 to the scene. Hose Company crews handled multiple tasks on the scene until command advised they could clear.
