On the morning of Sunday June 16th Tower 5 headed out of town for the week to be featured at the Maryland State Firemens Convention in Ocean City MD. It took approximately two and one half hours to make the trip to the Roland E. Powell Convention Center where the Tower would remain until parade day on Wednesday. After the parade the Tower received an Honorable Mention Award for best appearing Aerial Piece….however we all know she was the best looking Aerial Piece in the parade followed up by Cecil County Tower 72 old Tower 5.
