On Wednesday at 0516 hours, the Hose Company along with Company 5-9 & Cecil County Station 6 were alerted for the motor vehicle collision with injuries on southbound I-95 at milemarker 89.3. Chief 5-1 was first on scene, followed by Quint 535 & Engine 512, with two tractor trailers involved and advised one of the cabs had sheared off the tractor. Crews quickly confirmed the occupant had self extricated from the cab with the assistance of a MSP Trooper & good samaritan. After confirming all occupants were out & accounted for, crews controlled a large spill from the saddle tanks and command requested the Harford County Hazmat Team for a pump-off detail. Two patients were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries by the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps & Level VFC and all crews were clear of the scene by 0650.
