For training night this week FF Liddell set up elevators and standpipe training with the maintenance man at St. John Towers where the company had a high rise fire only months prior. 512 went out with 7 once we arrived at the Towers Mr. Meehan met us and offered a walk around prior to starting or elevator and standpipe operations. After the walk around crews went to work on the standpipes practicing hooking up and stretching the high rise pack. After standpipes the crew moved onto elevator operations. Mr. Meehan showed the crew where the power to the elevators was located as well as the man elevator room where all the components are located. While training at the towers engine 515 contacted 512 and wanted to meet up to test a new hydrant valve that had been purchased. After meeting 515 512 proceeded to get fuel and stop by House 4 to exchange a portable. While at house 4 514 was also training the division topic of the night was auto fires the crew hung around for the show and also supply a little water to engine 514.
