Twenty three SHCo members took part in the Harbor of Strength, Nolan Gallion III; Memorial Run yesterday, raising funds to help benefit those battling addiction and to honor the late Nolan Gallion III.
Several running & walking courses wound their way through Havre de Grace, which included a 10k run, 5k run and 1 mile walk.
One Hose Company member took part in the 10k run, three members took part in the 5k run while wearing gear, including one donning SCBA, and nineteen took part in the one mile walk, all wearing turnout gear, with several donning SCBA as well.
We’d like to thank the Level Volunteer Fire Company for challenging us to the run and we look forward to next year’s event.
