pOn Thursday at 1130 hours the Hose Company was alerted for an Engine amp Truck as part of the Cecil 600 box for the reported building fire at the Rendezvous Inn 362 Front Street.nbsp Engine 512 w4 Bannon and Quint 5 w4 Berg marked up shortly after alert.nbsp Cecil Engine 11 was first on scene with heavy fire showing from the bravo side and requested the 2nd alarm.nbsp The 2nd alarm brought Engine 514 and other apparatus from Cecil County.nbsp Engine 512 2nd Engine arrived at 1138 hours and took their own 5quot line to the bravo side.nbsp Engine 512s crew was originally instructed to assist Engine 11s crew with keeping a gas fed fire in check on the bravo side.nbsp At 1141 hours Quint 5 arrived and was advised by command to begin throwing ladders to the structure.nbsp As this was was being done the gas was shut off to the building and Engine 512s crew quickly made their way to the second floor to open up.nbsp Lieutenants Bannon amp Lamana and Firefighter Meehan quickly opened up two rooms and found heavy fire in the attic which was quickly knocked by Safety Officer 6 Barr.nbsp Hose Company crews continued to open up and hit hot spots until command placed the fire under control at approximately 1230 hours.nbsp The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshals Office and Assistant Chief 6 Buchanan held the quotFront Streetquot command.ppMore pictures to be uploaded tonightp
