pOn Saturday at 1103 hours the Hose Company was alerted for an Engine amp the Tower as part of the Cecil County 600 Fire Box for the reported house fire at 2 Ellis Court.nbsp Engine 512 amp the Tower marked up shortly after alert.nbsp A Perryville Medic unit was first on scene with heavy fire from the two story single family.nbsp Upon Engine 512s arrival the crew picked up Truck 6s line and quickly made their way to side alpha where they were instructed to back up Engine 11s crew operating on division two.nbsp Also during this time command advised that there was possibly people trapped.nbsp The crew of 6 split in two one backing up and assisting Engine 11s crew while the other conducted a primary search of division two and began knocking fire once the search proved negative.nbsp During this time command had also requested the 2nd alarm which brought Engine 513.nbsp After a short time of crews working on the interior command requested all crews to evacuate and announced that crews would be transitioning to defensive operations.nbsp By this time Tower 5 had been on scene and their crew reported to the manpower pool on side A.nbsp After a quick knock down by Truck 6s ladder pipe crews returned to offensive ops and began mopping up division two however after a short time command again requested crews to evacuate.nbsp Crews continued knocking hot spots from the exterior and the fire was under control shortly thereafter.nbsp Hose Company crews were committed on scene for approximately 3 hours assisting the FM amp opening up as well.nbsp Captain 16 held the command.brp
