Just after 1130am, Engine 512 was dispatched to assist The Community Fire Company of Perryville Md. Inc with a house fire in the 300block of Susquehanna Avenue. First arriving reported smoke showing from the three story dwelling, with a second alarm transmitted shortly after. Engine 511 then made their response to assist. SHCo crews worked until just before 2pm before returning to service. Just before 10pm, Engines 511, 512, & 514 were dispatched to assist Aberdeen Fire Department, Inc. with a house fire in the 600block of Edmund Street. First arriving reported fire showing from the rear of the one story dwelling. SHCo crews worked for approximately 30 minutes before returning to service.
Both fires remain under investigation by the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
