On both April 10th 11th the Hose Company was alerted for 10-50 PIs involving mopeds. On the 10th the Hose Company was alerted for the PI infront of the Weis Market on Pulaski Highway. Chief 5-2 Battalion Chief 5 Engine 515 Rescue 5 Tower 5 marked up shortly after alert. Battalion Chief 5 was first on the scene and advised that an intoxicated male was involved in the 10-50 and suffered a head injury. Shortly after command requested aviation and held Engine 515 to set up the LZ. Trooper 1 was started to the scene however was then diverted to the National Guard Armory in the 505 box area at which time command advised Engine 515 could clear. Battalion Chief 5 Pentz had the Pulaski Highway command. On April 11th approximately 1630 hours the Hose Company was alerted for the 10-50 PI involving a moped infront of Company 5-9 on Level Road. Chief 5 Engine 515 Rescue 5 marked up shortly after alert. Chief 5 was first to arrive and advised that an intoxicated male had struck the curb and lost consciousness. Shortly after the Chiefs arrival command advised Engine 515 would be able to handle and command also requested aviation to the scene. Chief 5 and Engine 515 remained on scene until Trooper 1s arrival and then cleared. Chief 5 Hurst had the Level Road command.
