On Thursday morning the Hose Company was alerted for the 10-50 PI Rescue at the intersection of Route 155 Bulle Rock Parkway. Chief 5 Deputy Chief 5 Engine 512 Engine 515 Tower 5 Rescue 5 marked up shortly after alert. Deputy Chief 5 was first to arrive with a two vehicle MVA with one patient trapped. Engine 515 arrived shortly after stabilized the vehicle and began popping the drivers side door. After removal of both driver side doors by Engine 515s crew Rescue 5s crew removed the B post to complete the extrication. During this time Engine 512s crew pulled Engine 515s trash line incase of any fire during extrication. Tower 5s crew assisted with patient care in both vehicles. Once the patient was extricated the patient was airlifted to a Baltimore area trauma center by Trooper 1. A second patient was transported by Paramedic 191 to a Baltimore area trauma center as well. Hose Company crews remained on scene for approximately 30 minutes and then cleared.
