On Tuesday morning 0836 hours the Hose Company was alerted for a water rescue in the Susquehanna River just below the Interstate 95 bridge.nbsp Chief 5 Deputy Chief 5 Chief 5-1 Dive Unit 585 Utility 571 with Marine 552 and Swiftwater Unit 586 with Marine 553 called enroute shortly after alert.nbsp Dispatch advised all units that they had received reports that a subject had jumped from the Northbound side of the Millard Tydings Bridge Interstate 95.nbsp Marine 552 launched from Jean Roberts Memorial Park 0840 hours and began heading north in the Susquehanna River.nbsp Chief 5-1 advised dispatch that he would be heading to the 95 bridge to make contact with the police amp attempt to contact any witnesses.nbsp Marine 552 arrived the area of the bridge shortly after and requested that Chief 5-1 flag on the bridge where the subject had jumped.nbsp Command then requested Mini-Pumper 545 to respond with a rope bag to mark the spot.nbsp Mini-Pumper 545 called enroute immediately and headed north on Interstate 95.nbsp Once the spot was marked on the bridge divers began deploying.nbsp At this time investigation efforts are continuing in finding the subject.nbsp Chief 5 had the Susquehanna River Command.
