Here is the letter that the SHCo received from Pierce on the status of new Tower 531Report for Susquehanna MD job 18522 for week ending 110406 Your new apparatus is making great progress. The cab had the interior components installed on the cab line while the frame rail assembly was built up and started down the main chassis line. By Thursday the cab was set on the frame rail assembly. The chassis is now nearing the end of the chassis line. The torque box assembly has arrived and next week it will be installed on the chassis. The main body is complete in the paint department and is staged waiting for its turn on the body pre-line where they will install most of the body exterior items along with most of the wiring harnesses. The transverse compt module is still in the paint process.
