On Monday afternoon the Hose Company was alerted for the woods fire on Canvasback Drive between Bufflehead Drive Decoy Drive. Chief 5 Chief 5-2 Engine 512 Engine 515 Mini-Pumper 5 marked up shortly after alert. Chief 5 was first to arrive with fire showing from the woods. Mini-Pumper 5 was next to arrive and stretched their booster line and began putting a knock on it. As Engine 515 was approaching the scene they were instructed by command to pick up the Mini-Pumpers three inch line and supply them with their tank water. While the Mini-Pumpers and Engine 515s crew were putting a knock on the fire Engine 512 was instructed to pull their booster line and hit the fire from another angle. The fire was quickly put under control and crews began wracking up. Hose Company crews were on scene for approximately 15 minutes and then cleared. Chief 5 Hurst had the Canvasback Drive command.
