On Wednesday night Company 5 was alerted for a dwelling fire in thenbsp 800 block of Earlton Road.nbsp Chief 5 Engine 512 Engine 513nbsp Engine 515 Rescue 551 and Tower 531 called enroute shortly afternbsp alert.nbsp Company 1 Level was also alerted for Tanker 121 which wasnbsp returning from another call in Company 4s area.nbsp Tanker 121 wasnbsp first to arrive and advised of a single story dwelling with heavy smokenbsp showing.nbsp Engine 515 arrived shortly after and crews advanced twonbsp inch and three-quarter hand lines inside the dwelling.nbsp Crewsnbsp found heavy fire conditions in the kitchen area with extension into thenbsp attic.nbsp The fire was knocked within a matter of minutes and crewsnbsp then checked for extension.nbsp Crews were committed for approximatelynbsp one hour before clearing.nbsp Job well done by all crews involved.
